Matt is a CPA with over 30 years of experience in public accounting, including tax planning and preparation for individuals and businesses, consulting and management advisory services, and a host of other tax and accounting practice areas, serving clients in real-estate-related and many other industries.
Since he bought his first rental property in 2011, Matt has become increasingly interested in both the tax and the operational aspects of real estate investments. Recently downsizing, he now owns 6 single-family investment properties in Memphis, as well as a mortgage note and an investment in a Syndication. He combines his expertise as a CPA with his experience as an investor, to bring advice from “both sides of the table” to other real estate investors.
Matt has his accounting degree from Furman University, and is a CPA (member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Tennessee Society of CPAs).
