Ten years into their investing journey, Linda and Ames attended their first MIG meeting. As they walked out the door, Linda turned to Ames and said, “We’ve found our people.” That moment marked the beginning of her deep involvement with the organization.
Before entering real estate full‑time, Linda spent most of her professional career in Computer Science, working in application development, banking systems, medical practice software, and database management. She moved quickly into leadership roles, where she developed and delivered training for both IT professionals and end users. Her love of teaching, coaching, and creating clear, practical learning materials now carries directly into her work with investors.
In 2019, after a corporate restructuring eliminated two departments she led, Linda chose not to return to IT. Instead, she became a Realtor—not to advance her own investing, but because she genuinely wanted to work as an agent. Today, her MLS access and analytical skills have become a valuable resource for MIG members seeking clarity, comps, and guidance.
In 2023, Linda was invited by the MIG Board of Directors to join the organization in a paid role. She now serves as a central point of connection for members, helping them navigate resources, understand processes, and get the most out of their membership. Her blend of technical expertise, teaching experience, and investing knowledge makes her a trusted and steady presence within the MIG community.
Linda’s work reflects her core belief: real estate investing is easier, safer, and more successful when people learn together, support one another, and stay committed to doing things the right way.
